About the Queensland Training Awards
The Queensland Training Awards recognise and reward the outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations within the vocational education and training sector who strive for excellence, best practice and innovation.
Now in their 47th year, the Awards continue to showcase and highlight the significant contribution made by Queensland’s vocational education and training sector to the wider Queensland community and economy.
The awards are held at regional level - in Brisbane, Central Queensland, Gold Coast, North Queensland, South West Queensland and Wide Bay Sunshine Coast - with winners competing for a State title to be held in Brisbane on 11 September. The State winners are then eligible to nominate for national honours at the Australian Training Awards to be held in Darwin on 20 November 2008.
All students, employers, training providers and organisations are encouraged to nominate and reap the many rewards that accompany this prestigious award.
