About the Queensland Training Awards

The Queensland Training Awards recognise and reward the outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations within the vocational education and training sector who strive for excellence, best practice and innovation.

Now in their 48th year, the awards continue to showcase and highlight the significant contribution made by Queensland’s vocational education and training sector to the wider Queensland community and economy.

There are 11 award categories.

Seven categories are initially contested across six regional areas — Brisbane North, Central Queensland, Brisbane South and Gold Coast, North Queensland, South West Queensland and Wide Bay Sunshine Coast — with winners then competing for a state title. These awards categories are:
